terms & privacy
By using Crumble you agree to the following.
A temporary file drop. You upload a file, hand the link and password to someone, and it goes away on its own after the TTL both the file and its metadata are deleted.
The service is provided as-is.
Short version: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell anything, we don't run ads. Files are end-to-end encrypted
What we collect: uploaded files, file metadata (your username, hashtag, expiry, download count), hashed passwords (used only as a download gate), and server logs with IPs for rate limiting.
Retention: files and metadata are deleted when the TTL (1-72h) or download limit is hit. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Server logs are rotated and dropped. Nothing is backed up
Where: the server is in the EU.
Cloudflare: we use Cloudflare for DNS and DDoS protection only. Our CDN and file serving run on our own infrastructure. Cloudflare may process your IP address and TLS metadata. Their privacy policy applies to that layer.
You can permanently delete your Crumble account and all uploaded files.
This cannot be undone. All your files and account data will be gone immediately.
